PVP K15 is a powder with CAS 9003-39-8, odorless or slightly characteristic odor. It is easily soluble in water, alcohol, amines and halogenated hydrocarbons, but insoluble in acetone, ether, etc. It has excellent solubility, biocompatibility, physiological inertness, film-forming properties.

While PVP K15 CAS 9003-39-8 is used as a film former in hair styling products, PVP K15 CAS 9003-39-8 can also be used as an emulsion stabilizer in creams and lotions and as a dispersant for hair colorants.
