PVP K120 is a powder with CAS 9003-39-8, odorless or slightly characteristic odor. It is easily soluble in water, alcohol, amines and halogenated hydrocarbons, but insoluble in acetone, ether, etc. It has excellent solubility, biocompatibility, physiological inertness, film-forming properties.

1. In daily cosmetics, PVP and copolymers have good dispersibility and film forming property, and can be used as setting liquid, setting agent of hair spray and mousse, shading agent of hair conditioner, foam stabilizer of shampoo, wave setting agent, dispersant and affinity agent of hair dye. Adding PVP to snow cream, sunscreen, and hair removal agents can enhance wetting and lubrication effects. Utilizing the excellent surface activity, film-forming properties, and non irritating and non allergic properties of PVP, it has broad prospects for application in hair and skincare products
