Betadex Sulfobutyl Ether Sodium is a sulfonated, highly water-soluble derivative of β-cyclodextrin. It is modified with sulfobutyl groups to provide excellent aqueous solubility, strong inclusion ability, and enhanced safety, making it ideal for injection-grade pharmaceutical applications.
Its unique molecular structure enables it to form stable inclusion complexes with hydrophobic drugs, improving solubility, bioavailability, and chemical stability while reducing irritation and improving dosing performance.
